Title: Fluid in head before surgery
Post by: Jeanlea on March 20, 2006, 08:31:17 pm
I'm curious and want to see if others had fluid they could notice in their head before surgery.  I would turn my head sharply and have a weird sensation.  Of course, I never thought it was anything serious.  I also would feel faint going from a kneeling to standing position.  After surgery this all went away.

Jean: Are you sure you had fluid in your head? Or was it the vestibular nerve not functioning properly? Did your doctor tell you that you had fluid in your head? Kathleen

Kathleen,
No, the doctor didn't tell me it was fluid.  It just felt that way.  I did tell the doctor that when I would strain (like with a bowel movement) I would feel a lot of pressure.  He told me not to do that.  Maybe it was the vestibular nerve not working correctly.
