I recently went off my Topamax and Neurontin and of course, headaches back, but not as severe as before.  I have been laid up with various internal ailments (caused by anti-seizure drug toxicity??) and not active at all but in the past few weeks have been a little more active and as a result, very headachy.  It all starts at that single point in the occipital region. Almost seven years post-op and still suffering and I'm sick of it!!!

Dr is in my old hometown of Cleveland, where I still have a few friends who would be glad to have me.  I plan on contacting this doc next week and finding out more.  I want my life back!!!!!!!

Hi Capt.:  I'm not a headache sufferer but I want my life back too ! !   I really don't like lying in bed trying to go to sleep with one eye wide open b/c of the paralysis.
We have different problems due to the darn AN, but our wishes are the same.
I hope you find some relief.   I am still searching....    But, I am (as I know you are) thankful for what we have,  for what God has given us.
I personally just wish when I lay down both eyes would close !....   I know you wish you can go through at least a month without a headache.

Yes Phyll, that's da guy!  Your post promted a google search and when I typed in "surgical migraine cure" his name came up and he happens to be in Cleveland, a convenient place for me to actually go since I have a best friend from high school there and 3 girls who used to be family friends who I am still in touch with.

Wow, hope that is a treatment that really works and offers people like our beloved Cap't Deb relief.  Such a terrible thing to be straddled with all of your life.  Cut the darn thing out!!
