Hi Everyone,
In 48 hours(July 7th) I will be undergoing surgery for my AN at Duke-Raleigh hospital. For all the prayer warriors out there, will you please lift me up in your daily prayers over the next week. I am praying for strength, patience, a positive outcome andof coarse, a set of skillful surgeon's hands ::) I have been at peace with my decision, but will admit that as the date gets closer, I am getting more nervous. :-X
Thanks to everyone on here who has shared their experience. It will help in the recovery process.
Also, good luck to Angela who has her surgery this week at Duke.
Thanks,
Lisa

I think you'll do just fine - and my thoughts and prayers will be with you - along with those of many others. Stay positive.

Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
Hang tight...try not clean too much....something about knowing you are going in for surgery makes you want to clean and have all your stuff organized.
Keep us posted. Call if you need to talk.
Cindy: I deleted your telephone number for security purposes. Please send Lisa a PM with your number, if you wish. Jim

I'm confident things will go well for you and we'll be seeing you again (as a postie) before you know it.

Lisa, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am now 4 weeks postop and doing more each day. Listen to your doctors and your body. This is major surgery. You will be surprised how well you do. When you are tired rest. Don't push too hard . You will do well. Good Luck. Tweety

Lisa,
I will keep you in my prayers for a safe, successful and swift surgery. With an easy recovery too ;)
Your tumor is small, so be very optimistic.
You will fall asleep on July 7, wake up and it will be all over (the surgery part anyway!)
Peaceful wishes,
Maureen

See all of you on the other side.

I don't see any updates on this anywhere else (I admit, I'm not the best searcher.....). Just wanted to let you all know that Nikki is doing exceptionally well. I went to see her briefly this afternoon and I can't get over how well she's looking/doing. Up moving around, walking, smiling. I'm sure she'll update when she's up to it, but I just wanted to let you know that you shouldn't worry and all is very WELL! Very happy for her......
