I've been reading about several drugs that have weight gain as a side effect. Are there any drugs that have weight loss as a side effect?? Because those are the ones I want. ;D

bruce don't you still have to eat whether you're hungry or not being diabetic? I want a drug that revs up my metabolism so when I think chocolate cake it doesn't magically appear on my hiney lol

Topamax made me lose about 10 lbs in two weeks, but it also make me INSANE (er) and unable to stop crying. Gave it another shot after two months on Lexapro--still made me nuts.
The only way to rev up your metabolism is exercise.

I have enough problems controlling my sweet tooth especially now when sweets is the only thing that tast right with the numb tongue...somehow I'm thinking cymbalta and me would have me holding up a bakery with a mixing spoon LOL

No drugs for me...I find that the big scar and dent on my stomach where they took the fat from is enough inspiration to not make it a bigger dent.I also can't open my mouth as wide with the paralysis and those big pieces of chocolate cake just won't fit anymore. :'(

Jean: Drugs to treat what? There are all kinds of drugs that can cause weight gain but very few that cause loss. What is it you're trying to help?
