(Kathleen is on the phone with me now to give me this update... verbatum...)
the dr ordered surgery for Wednesday. Against his wishes, Kathleen requested to be clamped to see if that would stop the CSF. As it stands right now, the clamp is working right, although they didn't think it would (GO KATHLEEN!). This is the time she is asking for MANY good thoughts, wishes, Beanie farts and anything for luck you all can think of (Capt'n Deb, keep those socks on... we need them bad!).
The dr's will come in Wed am to see if the clamp is still working and she is holding the CSF. If in the am she is still holding the CSF, she will go home... if not, then surgery is scheduled for 2p-3p, for a duration of 1/2 hr. They will extract more belly fat to repack and secure the area. I'm offering all of my belly fat... I have enough to donate, but Kathleen won't have any of it (silly wench!).
So far, everyone is surprised she is dry and please please please thoughts, prayers and wishes tonight that she does well overnight and that they can cancel the surgery.
This will be cross posted to her carepages.com. Kathleen and I will speak in the am to get the update. She also knows to call me at any hour during the night if the clamp doesn't hold.
(btw, Capt'n Deb... Kathleen just said that she needs to get home so she can have some of your single-winged chocolate cake!) :)
