Hello Everyone. From these boards I met a fellow AN survivor, Lisa. Her surgery was 2 years ago and everything went very well. On July 23rd she gave birth to her 5th child at only 34 weeks. Her sweet little miracle baby had to undergo surgery the day after birth for omphalocele (part of her intestines were outside her body) and she is also showing signs of Down's Syndrome.
The email I got telling about her new baby is filled with much hope and optimism. Lisa is a wonderful person who I only know thru emails and this forum. Please keep her and her baby in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Thanks everyone.......

Pembo,
Lisa and her family will be in my prayers, please keep us posted on her baby's progress. Prayer is a powerful tool, and miracles do happen, we (AN survivors) are living proof of that. Ann

Thanks for sharing Lisa's news.
The news of a little one is a blessing, howbeit somewhat a setback to know it came into this world with problems.
We only have to look around to find others that have problems far greater than ours.
Let's show Lisa "Our AN Family" support with all our wishes, thoughts, prayers, and hugs.
