Title: Neurologists and AN specialists in California San Francisco Bay area

Hi there! I am moving to the San Francisco Bay area to be with a friend who can help me at home because I live alone now.
Can anyone recomend good Neurologists or doctors who have handled AN patients in the San Francisco Bay area?  Thanks. Effiya.

Hi Effiya:

I have heard good things about Stanford.  I think it is about 30 miles south of San Francisco.  They do have a Scull Base Center.  Good luck to you.

I have also heard that UCSF Medical center right in San Francisco has a good reputation.

Hi effiya - I live in San Ramon, CA about 35 miles east of San Francisco. I had my surgery with the California Ear Institute at Stanford. The Ear Institute is wonderful, they do alot of AN's.  I will send you an e-mail with more info.

Thank you all for your responses. I am no longer moving to San Francisco. I probably should go to Johns Hopkins in Maryland. Till now I have been going to the JFK Neuroscience Institute in Edison, New Jersey but I don't think they are AN specialists. What do you guys think? I live near Edison, New Jersey.
