Hi all,
I am 4 months post-op. Wondering if anyone has their AN side ear higher or lower than the other one? My AN side ear is sticking out more and is lower than the other ear. I don't think it would be noticeable except for when I wear my prescription glasses - they are so crooked- lol. I guess I'll wait awhile and see if things settle down more and go get my frames adjusted.

Hi Pam,
I believe my AN ear may be a tad lower,, so hubby says,, but it is not noticeable to others, I did have my glasses adjusted shortly after surgery but mostly because they were a little tight on that side,
Hope that will help you too ,, Jane

Hahaha ... my ears were at different heights before AN surgery and might be closer to being level now. However with glasses on the AN side does not move as the healthy side does and my glasses always look crooked.

I'm the epitome of the dumb blond - it took me a whole year to figure out that my ear was sewn on at a different height!! I couldn't figure out why my prescription glasses fit OK but not the sunnies from Target. It was because they adjusted my regular but when I bought the cheapies off the rack, I just got them how they were!! LOL!! Thankfully, no one notices but me!

My AN side ear is a bit sunken into my head and a little lower, the constantly elevated eyebrow doesn't help. When I brought it up to my ENT he replied that I am lucky he didn't put it on upside down. :)

MNTim ---LOL !! My ENT didn't seem to care either. I suppose in the big scope of things it is very minor.
