I had Gamma Knife procedure for my AN in January of 2013 and I wanted to use my vision plan for a pair of perscription sunglasses. To my surprise, my vision has improved. I wear progressive lenses and with my new contacts, I can read without reading glasses. Has anyone else experienced this? Seems so very strange. My eyes have not changed for at least a dozen years and now they got better.

Bob;
Did you have even the remotest dizziness before GK? Vestibular problems can affect vision.

I've had just the opposite- blurry vision since GK

I did not have any dizziness or balance issues prior to Gamma Knife. My only symptoms were loss of hearing on the right side and headaches. After my Gamma Knife procedure I had vertigo really bad. I could not walk a straight line or stand on one foot. Fortunately, this has resolved itself and I am back to normal activities again. I noticed a few months ago that I could read better without my glasses. My eye doctor confirmed that my eyesight had improved and I now have a much weaker prescription. At least I have gotten something positive out of this ordeal. Sorry to hear about all the people who's vision has gotten worse. I still have balance issues from time to time, but nothing that bad.

My vision got worse after GK. I have had blurry vision every since, along with vertigo and severe headaches (did have vertigo before GK). I am 2 years post GK.
Glad you did have something positive come out of it, though!!

My vision has decreased since I've been diagnosed. I'm hoping it doesn't get much worse. Don't know what vertigo feels like but I'm hoping not to experience it as well. GK June 25th.. very nervous.
