I would like to learn more about what Don wrote back in June on the thread about using bone conduction devices. Did I understand correctly, that you have a Cros system that is sending the signal to your good ear via bone conduction? This is something I would love to try, as my Cros experiences thus far have been a failure. Please share the brand you have if you don't mind, and any other details so I can look into it. I've seen at least 4 audiologists now, to trial external BAHA devices and Cros systems, with no benefit. I'm not in love with the BAHA abutments, and the audiologists tell me if I don't get benefit from a Cros, I won't from a BAHA either. None of them have suggested that using a Cros to conduct via the skull was an option. Is anyone doing this, or has tried it? Thanks in advance.

Carrie,
There is a seminar Hearing Issues/Devices/Technology/Demonstrations From 8/1/23 which was a great overview of what is in the market for hearing options. It is lead by Dr. Cunningham from Duke. It could be worth an hour of your time.
Good luck,
Dan
