Title: MRI scheduled for this Friday...

Hi All,

I have my MRI scheduled at NYU for this Friday.  I spoke to Dr. Rowland who will be my doctor now that Dr. Cohen has retired.  Dr. R. called me last week and he looked at my last MRI films (10/1/06).  He said he couldn't determine if it is scar tissue or regrowth.  This next MRI will paint the picture.  With these new symptoms I'm having I'm scared to death that it's a regrowth.  I just hope if it's a regrowth that it's not hugh.  My last MRI showed an enhancement of 8 mm which was a year and a half ago plus a pregnancy during that time.....

Dr. Cohen told me in 2006 it was scar tissue but apparently Dr. Rowland is not convinced of that.

I'm really nervous please pray for me....

Jen-You are definitely in my prayers and thoughts. I just went through this-if you look at my post under Dealy. One noted ENT and 2 Neuros said mine was not regrowth or a new tumor but fatty tissue from original surgery. Oh my gosh-what a relief. But that little imp in the back recesses of your mind says-what if they are wrong and it is a tumor. Well-I finally decided-I will deal with that and whatever cards are dealt-worry will profit no one-but we all realize it is a human trait you just CANNOT overlook sometimes. I hope and pray your mind is set at ease on Friday. Please post your results ASAP. Best Wishes and Hugs from a fellow ANer-Ron.
