Hi Liz,
I too was at peace with my surgery, to the point where I wasn't even nervous about it that morning. Then, I often don't feel much of anything at 5 AM! :)
My prayers are with you and I look forward to updates from your friend Annalisa!

Hi Liz,
I'm almost 8 weeks post op (translab). I wish you well.
I had sooo much work to do before surgery - it was like trying to get everything caught up before vacation. I stayed up until 3:00am; got up at 4:00 and left for the hospital at 5:00am. What kept me going all night was 'well, i can sleep all day tomorrow!' I was eager to get on with it as well, and be on the post side of things.
Many will have you in their thoughts and prayer!

I'll be thinking about you and keeping an eye out for updates. I am having translab next week in UT and am oddly excited about it. More so I can stop associating every ache and pain with the tumor. You are going to do great. ((hugs)) and prayers.

I've got 2 regrowths and will probably be getting them removed soon. On my first go around, all I wanted them to do was get it over with as fast as they could get it scheduled so I know how you feel.
Good luck and I'll be praying that it goes smoothly with as few side effects as possible!

Hi, Liz:
I can relate to your pre-op calm and desire to get on with it and start your recovery. I was the same way - and I had a similar-sized AN. It all worked out well, as I trust your surgery will, too. Many good thoughts will go with you and many prayers will be said for you as you embark on this surgical adventure, tomorrow. We'll definitely be looking for Annalisa's updates. Stay positive. :)

Hi Liz,
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best for your surgery tomorrow. Seems hard to believe I was in your shoes a week ago today. I was also very eager to “get it over with! I know having all the prayers and thoughts from everyone on this forum gave me that “ I can do anything attitude, and I know you’ll do just fine, The coming home is definitely the best part. Please do keep us posted on how you’re doing. We are thinking and praying for you! :-*

Good luck, Liz. You have my prayers. And I'm with Keri, I didn't worry about getting enough sleep, I just figured I could sleep for the next month -- and I did.

God speed to you.
I live nearby you near Gig Harbor, so keep that in mind as you recover.
I haven't been following this thread, so don't know where you are having surgery.
I'll stay posted though.

Good luck Liz, I would imagine you're either on your way or in surgery now - I was strangely calm beforehand too... must be a coping mechanism by the mind! I will send lots of healing vibes from Australia for you - 2 weeks ago today was my surgery and I'm rocking it, you will be too in a week or so!
