Hooray!! I have a hat!!
« on: October 21, 2009, 08:45:06 am »
To Steve, ever so talented and generous with his time and yarn,

Thank you for my wonderful hat!  I actually got it a week ago, but I had "severely misplaced" my camera. so I waited until it reappeared before making the big announcement.  I'm not counting on the weather in Houston to be able to wear it anytime soon, but we are going to Nebraska for Thanksgiving, and I know it has already snowed there.  The hat will be packed with loving care and proudly worn during the holiday of thanks.  Thanks indeed-for all the wonderful people who share their love, wisdom, and good advice to all in need.  I feel so honored to be among the hat pack :D :D.

Pricilla, you look absolutely stunning!  :) thanks for sharing this.  Great color choice for you!

well done Steve! I don't know how you are going to "top" all of these hats?  Maybe matching scarves? ;)

Very nice, Priscilla. Our hats are more or less twins, you know, being knit at the same time and all. The color coordinates with the autumn leaves on your mantel, too.

Thank you one and all.  All kudos go to the hatmeister, Steve.  The red dress bit does have an appeal, Nancy! Red is my brave color, the color I secretly covet and wish I had the nerve to flaunt. ;)  I compromise by adding red flourishes whenever and wherever I can.  Maybe that's why I love fall so much...it's so unabashedly flamboyant!  :D

OMG!  I am so surprised - I had no idea that Priscilla would be the recipient of the red hat - although I tried to get that top secret info. from Steve a couple of times  ;)  :D

Priscilla you look stunning in the red hat - and I too think you should wear it with a red dress.

I'm glad you found your camera.  I love seeing who Steve is gifting with a hat; I'm very happy it was you.

Wear it in good health!
