Tumor-free!
« on: February 10, 2010, 08:15:36 pm »
Absolutely wonderful news!  I had my first MRI follow-up on Monday and got my results today - no sign left of my tumor!  They had left just a tiny bit that was stuck to my facial nerve and I was hoping it would eventually die off, but I didn't expect such good news so soon.  I can recheck in two years.  Even though I didn't expect bad news today, I didn't expect this either and I feel like a weight has been lifted.   :D

I am dealing with dry eye issues (just not producing tears), but otherwise I have no complaints.  I have decided to hold off on a BAHA for now but may go that route eventually.

Just wanted to share with my AN friends!  Even though I don't post a lot, this is always my first stop when I have things pop up that I want to check out, and you've all been very helpful.  Thank you.

Denise!     So good to hear of the MRI results.       It is easy to get that "what if" thought and good news makes life so much easier!
I think of that for all who get good news even when do not write to all.
