Darn, wish I lived in AZ...would be very interested in participating...hope someone here can do it.  Who's in AZ?  Know of Mary (MaryBKAriz).  Haven't seen her for awhile, I'll try to send her a PM to let her know about it...anyone else out there?

This is for neramexane, I believe.  There are locations all over the country doing this trial including Burbank, CA where I tried to participate.  I was ineligible because I'd had a brain tumor and surgery.  I've tried to participate in a number of trials, but have never been accepted b/c of my AN.  Very annoying!

6mmx8mm AN rt side.  Mid-fossa surgery HEI House/Schwartz 10/28/09.  Temp facial paralysis (8 weeks), SSD, severe tinnitus & hyperacusis, tumor all gone.  12/23/09 cochlear nerve section (trying to reduce tinnitus) no major improvement on tinnitus. Trying biofeedback/neurofeedback for tinnitus.

Hey, does anyone know if MaryBKAriz suffers from tinnitus?

Haven't seen her on the Forum in a while, but she may be interested in this.

Perhaps I should PM her?

I sent Mary a PM yesterday, Jan...can't remember if tinnitus is an issue for or or not, but sent it to her anyway...

Well...that one was short lived! I didn't even get past the first question...which was "How long have you had your tinnitus?" In my case, it's been about 4 years now.  They want people who are under a year. I guess I don't understand what difference it makes whether you've had it for 1 month or 30 years.  Oh well, better luck next time! :)
