Houston ANA Group Meeting

Everyone,

Just in case anyone is interested, there will be a Houston Chapter of the ANA meeting tomorrow..  Here are the details:

Saturday, May 1, 2010
1:30–3:30 p.m.

TOPIC:
Reflections from the AN Patient:  A Variety of Experiences

12hr retrosig 5/8/08 w/Drs Vrabec and Trask in Houston, Tx
Some facial paralysis post-op but most movement is back, some tinitus.  SSD on right.

Well, you better tell everyone to LOOK OUT 'cuz I am coming that way in a few weeks!  They won't know what hit them!!  Warn them now!!  And Cinco Ranch...you know that is one of the top 2 places...

Kay, I warned the group leader (Priscilla) that you'll be joining us soon.

For those that missed the meeting, you missed a great one. I got to see a BAHA BP100 up close, a gold eye weight, CROS hearing aids, etc. I got to meet Cherry Piper from the forum. He and I both reinforced the amount of good, non-judgemental information there here on the forum. I think it's the best ANA meeting I've been to thus far.

Not me!  There just aren't that many Priscillas in this world, and how funny that one turned up here!  I haven't met this wonderful person yet. I was barely back in town after taking my 4/5 graders to Austin for our bi-annual visit for 3 days.  Great trip, but it took me most of Sat. get around to doing anything.  I am retiring at just the right time, I think.  I used to recover from these trips a lot faster in the old days. :D

Surgery 12/10/08 at Methodist Hospital w/Vrabec and Trask for what turned out to be a cpa meningioma.
