SO does it have any tomatoes in it? I ask as I love salsa but have developed and allergy to tomatoes. If there are no tomatoes this may be a good alternative.

Thanks everyone!  I was just as shocked as the next guy about taking 2nd place (or any place for that matter).. There were over 400 entries, so I had resigned myself to know that it was very unlikely..  I guess we all know about longshot odds, eh?

DMH: to answer your question, no there are no tomatoes.

As far as the recipe goes... Umm.. you add some of this... a little bit of that... some of that other thing (but not too much). 

I may just have to make some more for the party we have at Kay's house.  Hahah..

DHM - be careful, tomatoes and strawberries are closely related (who knew?) so people are often allergic to both.
