« on: January 03, 2011, 04:37:35 pm »
I realy do like the new format, except I REALLY miss my smileys (however, I know that is TOP priority! LOL!!)...I finally found the PM place under "My Messages" but how would I know if I have one?  Does a little red circle appear like on my iphone, I wonder...HHHMMMMM...

Steve~
I saw the e-mail notification first so when I came to the Forum I was looking for it...it is a little WHITE number next to the my messages.  I guess the old one wasn't really noticable either so I sure once we train our eyes to look there, we'll see it.  It wasn't the "beacon" I was hoping for but will do fine!

Another wonderful AN person and fellow Facebooker told me how to change all of the colors if I use Mozilla, which I do.  It is somewhat better, but it doesn't change everything.  I can't change the bright white on the reply background, but at least I got rid of the rest of the blues and white....won't be here as often, but i will drop by on occasion... It's funny when I did spell check the colors I chose came up, when I get back to the regular screen it is the brightness again....I will continue to tweak my system. :)

PS...thank you, Kay!

So, Steve.  Are you there, Steve?

Do we still get a piece of birthday cake with a candle on it if we check our profile on our birthday?

Jan

A virtual piece of cake obviously; not a real one.  Thought I should clarify that!

Jan, the birthday cake is still there!

I tested it by changing my birthday to today, then switched it back. Although I guess I could just change it every morning so that it's my birthday all the time.
