March 18, 2009… a day I’ll never forget.
« on: March 18, 2011, 09:10:54 am »
Two years ago today is when I went into MGH for my surgery. I couldn’t let the day pass without some acknowledgement right? Hard to believe it’s been two years already!! It amazes me still to think I actually went through something like that! Some days it feels like a dream, and then there are days like today where it’s still so fresh in my mind.

I’m happy we all have a place to come to when we need advice, comfort or just want to share a milestone 2-year anniversary!

Well wishes to everyone, wherever you may be in your AN journey! :-*

Scarlett

P.S.

2 year MRI booked for April 23rd. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

I can't believe it's been 2 years either.

Congrats on the ANniverary and best wishes for a clean, uneventful MRI.

Let us know the outcome.
