Paul here....

Just got back from working vacation in Maine. How's Kat doing? She must be home by now.......
Maybe I should call her? I wish I could see her!

She went home yesterday (Sat).  Very quick.  The doc is having them remove the bandages at home today.  I told them to look for swelling behind the ear...I had that.

She made it up the stairs, very tired, kept eyes closed on the hour ride home.  She had to wait 4 hours for discharge due to med mixup.

Still not wanting calls or visitors yet, but dizziness/nausea seems to be getting better all the time.

Wow!

I was in 2 weeks for the shunt surgery and 3 weeks for the tumor. Must be the insurance company at work.......scary.

Hugs to everybody.  I agree, seems like they shoved her out the door--my docs were so careful, but I had head-wrapping issues --so THAT's WHY I'M STILL SO D***ED DIZZY--hahahahha!  I actually have a scar where they wrapped the bandage on my forehead.  Think they'll fix it for FREE???  When I'm better, you bet I'll be asking.

Paul, when did you have your surgery?  A mother of a tumor, and you're doing so well.  I'm on a hamster wheel of trying alternative treatments.  But Mother Pearl--hee hee, my humor is out of control today, is encouraging me to slow down.

Jist waiting for the miracle to come...quoting Leonard Cohen, for anybody who can remember him.

Our love to Gennysmom.
