Regrowth after surgery and Cyberknife
« on: October 26, 2011, 09:14:07 pm »
I had surgery 8 years ago to debulk my tumor and Cyberknife 4 years ago after it had grown significantly.  Now my tumor has grown again (5mm) and my doctor is recommending surgery.  Has anyone encountered this situation?  If so, what did your doctor recommend?  Thanks for any feedback.

I am so sorry to hear this..... I have heard of a rare few that have run into this and from what I have learned over time, as part of being an AN'er... this scenario can, indeed, occur, although rare.

I do know of one that was a bit different from your's but jcinma (Jane) had an AN surgically removed, then had a regrowth debulked, then had the debulked regrowth radiated.

Will watch this thread to see if others chime in.

So sorry to hear of this issue.
