I'm not sure what a night terror is. Following my 10 hour surgery, I had horrible dreams for about a week, and they went away. I was told they might have been caused by the anesthetic. Other than that, In never have any problem sleeping prior to or following my surgery.

In my case, not directly related to the AN but as james notes.... some medications/anesthesea can bring on night terrors.

If you are on medications (some meds are formulated for one reason but used for other reasons ie: anti-depressants, etc), check with your pharmacist or dr to confirm side affects and if night terrors could be brought on by meds you may be on.

Sorry... daughter of a pharmacist here :)
