inner trembling
« on: March 13, 2012, 04:43:13 pm »
I want to know if anyone has had inner trembling since their acoustic neuroma.  I have noticed mine since I had radiation about 8 years ago.  It is only at night when I sleep.  I am wondering if this is from the neuroma or from anxiety.  I am going to the doctor when I get home and its getting progressively worse.  Worrisome

I don't have trembling, per se.  However, I DO have some sort of sensation/perception of vibration when I turn my head.  Kind of like a combination tinnitus (something I hear), and more of a physical feeling.  Sometimes it's better, sometimes worse.

I also have some problems at night with shaky vision.  Believe it or not, I can tell my eyes are jiggly (nystagmus), even thought they're closed.  Weird.

I've learned on this forum that many of us have some odd symptoms, many of them quite unique to that individual.  After all, alot of this is neurological, and affects us differently.

I have had internal vibrations/trembling for almost 2 years.  I thought it was AN related, and ran this by Dr. Chang who did not believe it was.  It's in my face both sides and down my arms.  I believe mine is hormone/menopause related.  I've read many like stories on menopause forums.  Don't know if you're in the age range or not, but if so this may be it.  Started out feeling like I swallowed  a cell phone on vibrate and it's vibrating at the base of my brain.  I've gotten used to it.
