TINNITUS

Today I was talking with a (spiritual) friend. We got on the subject of tinnitus - she said tinnitus is your inner 'om' - it's God being near you. The louder it gets the closer he is. She said there are writings about this in the Bible & some spiritual (her husband is a yogi) readings from the past (I can't remember the name). He wrote a book & discussed tinnitus in one of the chapters (unfortunately I lent the book out & can't remember the name). I do feel better about the tinnitus after the talk we had - I can look at it in a positive light instead of something negative. So when I go to yoga class & the instructor says to say your 'om' to yourself, mine is already built in! & when it gets loud (like right now), I know it's okay...

I have suffered from tinnitus for a long time.  Your posting really hit it on the head!

God that is, really must love me too! :)  Someone did once tell me that they believed that tinnitus was the Holy Spirit speaking.  Whatever the case, God's peace is available to all who ask.
