Hi Catie,
I think you made the rigth decision.
My AN is 8mm, my instincts say, get it out of there but my doctor seems to want to wait until
Jan 07, do another MRI and then Gamma Knife....He told me that surgery could produce many extra problems but you are doing amazing, that is so great. You are a good example for me and why i should still consider surgery.
I have a great doctor, he studied two years at Harvard, but hes a neurotologist, and im not quite sure how much experience the neurosurgeons around here (in canada, montreal) with these surgeries.
So confused.
So glad to hear you are doing so well.

GK surgery completed on May 4, 2009 in Sherbrook Quebec, hoping and praying this will be the beginning of the end of my AN......

Hi Catie!!

How great is that????? All good news!!!!!  I know this forum has too much info about 'bad stuff' and it is refreshing to read your post.  I bet lots of people want to hear more details, too....

Take care of that new head!
