Still bugging you to think of a causal relationship here.

I was misdiagnosed by specialists for almost 2 years and it was my dentist that finally diagnosed my AN. As soon as I told him what my symptoms were (cheek and gum numbness) he immediately called my doctor to order an MRI.

I have had 2 pano's in the last 15 years. Do you think there is a correlation? My kids have had a few throughout their orthodontia years

On the subject of dentists.  While I am "waiting and watching," I'm thinking of getting some much needed dental work done. I was thinking dental implants, but now with MRIs having to be done, I wonder if the implants will be a problem when I go for another MRI.  I think I better find out about this!

depends on the metal they use with the implants.

I am wondering if panarex type XRAYS could make tumors grow.  I had several when I had some orthodontic work done at age 40.  I guess the big panoramic XRAYS are done for lots of other dental procedures.  ...I keep thinking about avoidance of tumors in the head, and how we can find out what causes them.

I didn't have one of these type of xrays prior to diagnoses, have had one since during "the monitored years" of the tumor regrowth.
