Race for Hope
« on: November 02, 2012, 06:38:05 pm »
Hello to Everyone!!   I just wanted to post that my family, friends, co-workers and myself will be walking in the National Brain Tumor's Race For Hope in Philadelphia this Sunday.  The name of our team is "Kathie's Head Cases"...........appropriate??  I think so!!  I am so thankful for all the support I have received in the past 2 years from everyone here on the forum.  Please know that I will be thinking of all of you as I walk in the survivor procession.............and then the 3 miles.  I am very happy that I am participating again this year in this wonderful cause to fight and find a cure for all kind of brain tumors.     God Bless each and every one!

Kathie ~

Congratulations on your participation in the 'Race for Hope'!  I'm pleased to learn how much you've benefited from the ANA Discussion Forums.  Hope the weather remains conducive to walking!

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

It is what it is
