Dr. Kalmon Post

I am newly diagnosed with AN rt 3 cm. a couple of weeks ago. My ENT referred me to Dr. Linstrom and met with him but he does the surgery at Westchester MC and it is not very practical for me. I found Dr. Post on this site and since my wife works in Mt. Sinai Hosp I decided to go meet him. My wife says that she heard a lot of good things about him. I would like to know if anybody had experience with Dr. Post.

I met with Dr. Post and Dr. Smouha yesterday and very much satisfied with the outcome of the discussion. I decided to go with them for the surgery. Dr. Post said that they will be doing retro sigmoid and will try to remove all the tumor. If in case when the tumor is sticking to the facial nerve, then will leave the part that is sticking and monitor and if necessary, will do radiation. We are planning to have the surgery on May 30.
