Anybody ever try ?
« on: July 29, 2013, 09:57:20 am »
Anybody ever try Lumecare drops ?
I hear ( only in one ear) that it lasts 7 times longer than Lacrilube, Refresh, etc.
Its only available in the UK but I found it on Amazon and Ebay. just curious if you have
tried it.
Nothing seems to work long enough, so here I go experimenting again  :)

Yes, please.  I'd also like to know how it works.  I'm going to have a hunt around for it here in Aus.

According to the Amazon ad, Lumecare "contains carbomer gel like Viscotears and Geltears."

There are no customer reviews for Lumecare but the ads for Viscotears and Geltears do have customer reviews.

Drugs.com has more information about Carbomer Liquid Gel.

And the following article gives additional trade names for the gel.

You can look them up individually for availability.

Clinitas Gel®
Liposic®

Satman: How are you doing? Been a long time: so, have you not seen the threads from Jill Marie re: the scleral lens?  I got mine Feb. & have not looked back: no longer needing lubricant except at night when I take the lens out & put on my NITEYE bubble bandage for sleep.  Imagine this: NO MORE OINTMENT DURING THE DAY!!  You gotta get the lens, it will change your life for the best!  Always good thoughts, Nancy
