Blot clot after retrosigmoid
« on: November 20, 2013, 08:33:04 am »
Hi everyone,

My husband underwent retrosigmoid surgery on monday 18th november. His left acoustic tumor was completely removed after a 6 hour surgery. However, he is continuing his stay in ICU because he has a clot in one of the veins in the brain. My husband has been given heparin for this to thin the blood. Has anyone faced similar issues? Has anyone been given heparin? Can anyone tell us your experience about this?

I did not have a clot, but was in ICU for two weeks and received heparin injections daily.
