MICRO SURGERY AT KECK MEDICINE DR FRIEDMAN

My son 27 yrs with 2 cms AN had surgery performed on 6 th May by Dr Friedman and Dr Gianotta at Keck Medicine USC LA.....
Well they removed the Tumour totally and was released on 9 th May .
But next day he had csf leak and on contacting Dr Friedman he advised to get re admitted and
Immediately after antibiotics he performed another procedure next day and sealed the leak completely.
He was kept for observation for 3 days.
Has no headaches balance problems or dizziness..
He is doing v good as promised by Dr Friedman. He assured that my son won't have any problem.
Dr Friedman is a great doctor surgeon and human being...he is just amazing.
He and Dr Gianotta make a great team.with so much experience behind them.
So is keck medicine centre and it's nursing staff.
All in all we are thankful to Dr Friedman and his team and Keck medicine staff.

Hi, I am scheduled for surgery with Dr Friedman/Gionatta on June 10th. I am just wondering what symptoms your son was experiencing with the csf leak to make him contact the dr after being released. Did he have to operate on him again?
