Noise and shock feeling with eye movement
« on: January 26, 2020, 12:19:35 pm »
2.5 years post OP and suffering
And I do mean suffering from
Noise and a Shock sensation with Eye Movement.  Every eye movement causes a very strong feeling as if I had been tazed in the face and I simultaneously hear a sound I can't describe on my deaf side.

I swear I can HEAR my fingernails grow (and that is no TT). It's like I hear my blood moving, my muscles squeak. It is very loud and constant and started about 8 months before AN diagnosis. So loud I once thought other people could hear it.

Any one else have this?
Doctors look at me like I am nuts when I describe my symptoms.

Hi Michelle. I have had similar issues both pre-surgery and after. It comes and goes. I get that weird shock feeling and sound when I move my eyes. But it doesn't really hurt. Is that what you're experiencing? My surgeon didn't know how to explain it either. I'm only 4 months post op. So we'll see how it goes. At least for me, it doesn't hurt.
