Kaiser travel reimbursement

Hi all KP members!!! I am writing this post to make you all aware of a possibilities to receive travel expense reimbursement if you have to travel a long distance for your surgery. You can get reimbursed around 50 cents a mile driving, $100 a night hotel for caretaker/spouse and $50 living expenses a day for caretaker/spouse. Call member services to inquire about travel reimbursement. This isn't a common thing so be aggressive when calling as some representatives may not have came across this before. I believe the distance must be greater than 50 miles from your house to qualify for this.
