AN Shaped like 3 peas?

When I had my GK, my Dr. told my husband that my AN was the shape and size of 3 peas.  I did not get a chance to talk to him, but I will.  Is this unusual?  Aren't they usually pear or mushroom shaped?    :o :o :o
