We are really all very lucky!
« on: September 25, 2014, 05:15:55 pm »
For those of you who just found out you have AN... we are actually all very lucky to have this diagnosis.  I was diagnosed in March 2012, got Gamma Knife in April 2012, tumor stopped growing and showed some shrinkage in February 2014.  My brother's father in law found out two weeks ago after fainting that he has Glioblastoma Multiforme, went into surgery a week later and has less than 6 months to live.  So I don't know about you all, but I feel blessed.

AN is definitely scary though, even today, I have some sharp ear to brain pains, but that's probably likely from five glasses of excellent red wine I had last night!

Good luck to all.
