Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with a large Acoustic Neuroma and I anticipate surgery. I am wondering what experiences people have had with the Duke Medicine Center in Raleigh and if anyone has any recommendations for Surgeons. I am also seeking similar information on the University of Virginia's Neurosurgeons and facilities. It will bring a lot of peace of mind to be able to choose a surgeon and facility that is well recommended, thank you.

Hi sklace7,

I saw surgeons at UNC, Chapel Hill:
Matthew Ewend, MD (Neurosurgeon)
Brendon O’connell, MD (ENT)

They were AMAZING. My surgery went so very well. I will DM you a blog i wrote on the event, it might help.

I would recommend them with no reservations.
