Having problems opening eye in the morning

I was having problems with dry eye.  My eye would not stay closed while sleeping.  I used eye drops during the day and ointment at night before going to sleep.  This problem started about a week or so post-op (July 2017)  Now, about a little over two months post-op I'm having problems getting my eye to open in the morning.  It's almost like it is glued shut.  I have to make a concentrated effort to open it to include rubbing it with my hand.  Once open it seems fine.  This happens almost every morning.  Has anyone else had this problem?
