One year MRI results
« on: December 23, 2017, 02:30:18 am »
Hello All,
I have not posted for quite some time, but I thought I would report on my most recent MRI. Due to insurance issues, I was not able to return to UPMC and Dr. Lunsford, however he mailed an order to have the MRI done locally in central WV.   The facility forwarded the CD to him for review.  My Gamma Knife procedure was done in April of 2016, and six month MRI was October of 2016, with no shrinkage, but no growth.  Received letter a few weeks ago from Dr. Lunsford advising that the tumor remains stable, possibly slight shrinkage, and I am to follow-up for repeat MRI in two years.  Good news, I thought!  Balance issues, tinnitus and nearly SSD, along with frequent “wonky head” remain my companions.   May you all have a blessed Christmas and hopeful New Year!
