Anyone else experience increased dizziness at night after surgery? Does it get better? I'm 5 days post. I also had taste changes. Everything else is as expected.

Darkness can have a big impact on a person's balance.  That should get better with time, but I think it is common for people to have a harder time in the dark and at night.

the laste changes usually correct within a couple of months.  That's what happened for me.

Good luck!

Middle fossa surgery at University of Iowa on May 9 2016.
Hearing saved.  Face is fine. Balance pretty darn good most days.
One year follow up MRI showed no tumor.
Five year follow up showed no tumor, so I'm in the clear.

Balance definitely got better over time. But honestly at 3 mo out I'm still unsteady. Walking a lot helps.
