Sure thank you for responding. I am 4 years past and decline contrast (have said if anything flagged then sure) also I keep for emergency use if I have to have. My AN diagnosed no contrast tho I did need contrast for the CK. I just feel its pro inflammatory so why if its just to track progess.

I brought this up at my July 12th appt with AN doc.  He had never heard of it.  So I gave him the data notes I'd written up about it, stemming from your post.  He said he'd check it out, and see if it's available here.  The radiologist who interpreted my latest MRI scan stated that he couldn't tell much what was going on with it, and recommended a re-scan with contrast.  It's definitely still there, and we know from previous scans (with contrast) that it's growing into the cochlear aperture, but not sure I'm ready for another dose of gadolinium.

It a tough one. When I had to have contrast I was well hydrated (I checked my renal sufficiency too before), I took a bit of NAD after. Mine is shrinking - I go to an excellent imaging facility and so far (4 years) managed to track without contrast- last one looked again at trigeminal nerve for me. Mine was first identified without contrast but I needed contrast for treatment.
