Hello,

If you had surgery at UCSD, where did you stay for surgery and/or recovery?

Many Thanks,
D

I had surgery 6 weeks ago at UCSD and travelled from NY. We had a local hotel while I was in hospital then had a VRBO cottage in mission beach for the following week. Highly recommend staying in a beach community to get out and walking. I found walking in the sand was easier than the hard surfaces. It was not far from  hospital and even with California traffic only 15-20 minute ride for post op appointments.

Hi, wondering how your surgery went? And what your experience was like?

How did it go for you? Is traveling back to normal for you again? I’ve been checking out gate1travel and really want to go on vacation finally. It’s been way too long since I’ve had a proper getaway, but I still have some concerns, especially with my health situation. I’m trying to figure out the best time and place to travel while staying safe and comfortable. If you’ve traveled recently, how was your experience?
