« on: January 18, 2007, 07:10:08 pm »
I ran across this new Bone Conduction Hearing aid .. with a separate receiver and transmitter...(runs on AAA batteries) .. looks good for watching TV or class room type of use.. assuming it works as advertised ... its only 50$ !!! ....(confidence it not high, as the web page has problems, consider yourself warned!)

In defense of the "freaky" look, I wonder if this aid could be worn farther back in the hair line.

But, if the hardware only comes in white, did they intend it for silver haired folks?  ::)

My doctor told me that bone conduction can be done on any part of the skull.
Even throught a tooth. Very strange.
