Just had my gamma knife treatment

Thanks again to everyone for providing me with so much information after my diagnosis in February.

I had gamma knife surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago on May 24 and I can report that my experience was pleasant.

Dr. Getch and team were amazing in how they communicated with my wife and me before and during the procedure.  I was there for about 8 hours, most of which was spent waiting for various phases of the treatment.

Afterward, I had some swelling in my forehead and I continue to have headaches, but tylenol takes care of them.

We go back in six months for an MRI and go from there.
