Pillows

Not sure where this goes but since trying to help headaches putting it here

Does anyone have a good wedge type pillow that keeps them at a 45* angle to sleep...
I have two just regular pillows with a memory foam pillow to support my head and neck and a
lumbar pillow under small of back ... as long as my mound doesn't shift I am fine ...if they shift
and I am not in right position I get a killer headache... I have been up since around 2 after my
pillow mound slipped a little and triggered headache when my head got too low... 3 extra strength
Tylenol and a hyrocodone and a half later I am feeling OK ...

I have been looking on line and not finding much... found some that are adjustable and are
basically three pillows with a strap to make them a wedge of varying hiegt... I have already tried
wrapping cloth around my pillows to hold them in place and it works for a night or two and has to
be redone ...would be nice to just have a wedge that didn't have to be fixed all the time

If anyone has found a good wedge pillow and would like to share brand and type information
I would appreciate it...

It's for babyboomers - they have some great stuff, including wedges for the bed.

I know they sell wedge pillows at Bed, Bath & Beyond and also at Linens & Things. I have one from Bed, Bath... and it works quite well.

I also sleep on elevation. First, the surgeon required it for the first few weeks but now I just keep doing it because sometimes when I sleep on only one pillow I a get heavy head. Not enough to take a painkiller because it is not really a headache but enogh for me to notice. I resort to what I did after the first surgery when I did get headaches because of the shifting position at night. I sleep on three pillows: one regular at the bottom and two european ones on top. They are big enough for me to get the support for my back so the elevation is from the waist actually. Maybe, there are better products out there and I should be looking as well! Hope something works for you!

I have to go to Nashville tomorrow and planned on trying to locate a Linens and Things or
Bed Bath and Beyond... I try not to get off my usual route up there too much... I thought of them
this morning ...

Did locate some better ones on line and they are expensive... we are getting a good refund
because we lost about an arm and half a leg on farm due to having to buy extra feed...I have earmarked
a portion for things that are going to make me more comfortable ... have felt guilty for having all these extra
expenses but have come to the conclusion that if Momma ain't happy no one is

Eve ... if I wake up when my head is just to a heavy point I can just get pillow back in place and do fine ...
sometimes though I don't wake up and the headache that comes in unbearable ...I have thought of duct
taping my pillows together so they can't shift

I got two wedge pillows (one was not high enough) last week and have one on the other and
pinned at sides to keep them stable ... got them at Bed Bath and Beyond... so far so good ... only
one sleep position headache since and that is because I rolled over on my side... another no no for me ...

When I told the woman there what I was looking for and why she was very helpful and told me that
if it didn't work to bring them back within 30 days for full refund... she says that they trust that what
they carry are good products and so offer this guarentee... I won't be taking them back but good
to know I could have and not lost the money ($60 for both) if it had not helped... anything they get
returned that is used is sterilized and given to local homeless shelters and halfway houses... don't know
if this is a Nashville thing or nation wide
