Pre Treatment intermittent cloudy vision
« on: May 23, 2008, 11:11:00 pm »
Hi,

I have noticed that my eye on my AN side is intermittently cloudy. I keep thinking when this happens that my glasses need cleaning, but after they are cleaned it still is there. After awhile it is gone. I notice it mostly when watching TV at night. I had an eye exam about 6 weeks ago, minor cataracts (that wouldn't be intermittent).  My AN was on the small side but I am wondering if anyone else has this pre-treatment. I do have hearing and balance issues and minor occasional twitching on that side of my face.

Thanks,

Mary

are you using drops ? ...  plus the eye lid * as least for me * does not always work well .. its kinda a window squeegee <sp?> the eyes... use your finger to move the lid up and down to see if that clears it up a little....

Thanks, Joe,

I am using drops. I am taking capsule medication to add moisture to my eyes, also adds to my mouth too which is annoying so I don't take all 3 dosages. Do you think maybe the right eye isn't closing thoroghly or consistently? Since I just got my annual eye exam, there were no problems found that would be intermittent. I also live in the desert so most people have eyes that are somewhat dry. This clouding only happens on the right side. Next time it happens, I will try holding it shut, in case it isn't as completely closed as I think. That'll be a way to know one aspect of it.

Thanks again and have a good weekend!! :)

my eye has become "foggy" from itime to time . what is happening in my case is the eye is trying to see thru the tears it makes. my AN side eye still doesnt blink. i can just about close it.

so when i gently wipe away the tear thats on my eye, it usually clears up.

and yes i use a eye drop with lubricant in it as well.

Cherry,

Thank you for your reply...I do think it is something to do with the dryness, perhaps.

Mary,
Your symptoms are very similar to mine. I have not yet decided on treatment. My right eye does do the fogginess thing also. I am also experiencing just in that last couple of weeks pressure and a rushing feeling in the head and face area. I am not sure if the AN is causing that? What treatment are you leaning towards?

Hi Sherry, :)

I guess we share strange eye problems....I wonder if it is AN associated. Thank you for being my partner in crime, either way!

I am having Cyber Knife Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It is coming soon. I am on one hand nervous and on the other hand excited. I feel really good about the choice I made. For me it made a lot of sense.

Have a good day,

Mary
