Best radiation oncologist at Stanford?
« on: June 07, 2008, 12:57:43 pm »
I have scheduled CK treatment with Dr. Chang at Stanford for four weeks from now. I've heard the names "Gibbs" and "Hancock" floated around on this board (in posters' signatures) as doctors who work on a CK team with Dr. Chang. I don't know yet who will be on my team, although I assume Dr. Chang will be because he has been the one reviewing my MRIs and consulting me.

Can anyone recommend which radiation oncologist at Stanford has the best reputation and/or the most experience? I'd greatly appreciate hearing from people who got CK treatment at Stanford: who was on your CK team, and how did it go for you both during the procedure and post-treatment? Especially with regards to the success of killing the tumor and if you had any side effects (from tumor swelling, for example).

Many thanks,
Tumbleweed
