I have been asked countless times over the years why I don't smile. In fact not being able to smile has caused me many problems with people misinterpreting my 'sense of humour'. 

I got fed up with trying to explain things and all I say now is that I had 'surgery' and don't want to talk about it.
That normally works. I have also got a 10 inch scar on my right thigh and two reasonably sized scars on my left arm, so many people just assume I had an accident. Fine by me.
