Cindy update!
« on: November 07, 2008, 08:51:13 pm »
Hi All,

I just got a call from Cindy's mom to let us know she's out of surgery and everything went well! They haven't seen her yet (they will in about 20 minutes), but got the full report from the doctors. They were able to get the entire tumor with no surprises during the surgery. Cindy is feeling a little nauseous and dizzy, but was able to smile and do everything else the doctors asked her to do.

I asked her to let Cindy know we were all thinking about her and send her our love.

Way to go Cindy!

Nancy

Nancy,

thank you SO very much for this update! The bloke (who also met Cindy this past summer) and I have been sending our wishes, prayers and thoughts her way... sounds like the Magic Scarf is doing the trick! Please relay that the bloke and I send our love and congrats on being a "postie"... she did it! :)

Thanks again,

Cindy, I'm very happy for you and your family.  Now for the hardest part, getting back your balance, learning to cope with your "new normal" and learning to be patient with yourself.  We will be here to help you out with any questions you might have being a "postie".  Congratulations dear, now rest, rest, rest.
