Kaybo, did the doctor tell you exactly why you could never scuba-dive or sky-dive?  What mechanism is "broken" that makes the pressure change a problem?  Commercial aircraft are pressurized to simulate an altitude of about 8,000ft.  Typical altitudes in sky-diving can be about 50% higher than that (12,000ft).  Does that mean that even flying in commercial airliners can be a problem?
