That is awful about his brother.  I can't believe that.

I've never seen the article where he talks about his AN.  That was a good article.

Thanks for posting this!

I was sorry to learn of the shooting of Scott Ruffalo, the brother of actor and fellow ANer, Mark Ruffalo.  From the link, it seems there is more to that shooting than meets the eye but that is probably irrelevant to Mark Ruffalo at this point.

Mark Ruffalo has had some notable success in show business, a very, very competitive field, but he has also dealt with a lot of tragedy and sorrow.  This is yet another burden for him to carry.  He has my sympathy.  I can only hope that Scott Ruffalo survives and that Mark can find solace within his family and at least a modicum of joy in his future.  I wish him well and pray that his brother lives through this.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

I'm also sorry to learn that his brother died.  Wow, not very good lately for relatives of the stars.  This, and the sister of Macauley Culkin, and Jennifer Hudson's family.  Very sad.  I'm still sad about Bill Cosby's son and that's been a long time now.

I never did see the final story.  At one point I heard there were two people in custody in connection with the shooting, but then I read something about it being ruled self-inflicted.

Whatever the case, it's definitely a tragedy.

I see now where they think they found the remains of little Caylee Anthony.

So much sadness in the world today  :'(

Makes me count my blessings even more.

I just watched Mark in 13 going on 30 the other day. This may seem weird, but I have never met anyone face to face who has had or has an AN. So when I was watching it, it felt weird. I know, I am strange.
1.2cm x 0.6 cm extracanicular component (7 mm) 05/08/08
MRI in AUG 08  showed 30 % growth
Having CK 9/30, 10/1 and 10/2/08
